OUTREACH & ENGAGEMENT OFFICER VACANCY 

Salary: 25,480 per annum pro rata

Hours: 21 hours per week

Base: Kingston upon Thames/ home working

Mind in Kingston is the local mental health expert in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. Our vision is that everyone in our local community with a mental health issue gets support and respect.

We currently have a vacancy for an Outreach & Engagement Officer to support beneficiaries to speak up about mental health and influence local services and to reach out into our diverse community.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about mental health and engagement with beneficiaries and ensuring that everyone in our local community with a mental health issue has a voice as well as access to mental health support.

You will have direct experience of working in a similar engagement role and be confident in engaging with, and reaching out to people from different backgrounds, including people from BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) communities. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, be motivated and able to manage your own workload effectively.

You will be joining charity that offers a supportive and flexible working environment, that encourages learning and that is positive about mental health.
