Help us to be there to support mental wellbeing
Do you have an interest/skill/passion that you would like to share?
At Mind in Kingston, we encourage people to share their interests and skills with others and support them in doing so.
Running your own group can be an empowering experience and help towards building confidence and self-esteem. Get in touch with us if you wish to start or join a group or check out the existing groups below.
Jay runs a bi-weekly art group on Fridays. This is a small, friendly and informal group that focuses on mutual support and where you can enjoy a range of activities, including painting, drawing, collage and crafts. No skill is required.
For more information, please contact Jay on 020 8255 3939 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are currently advertising for facilitators for the following groups:
We are seeking a facilitator with experience of teaching music, as well as having experience of working with people with mental health issues. This would ideally suit someone with music therapy experience.
Our Drama Group also requires a facilitator, ideally someone who has experience of drama therapy.
Both positions would be on a voluntary basis and we would welcome applications from students.
