Wellbeing Wednesdays

Wellbeing Wednesdays

Wellbeing Wednesdays

Our Wellbeing Wednesdays project offers a range of structured psycho educational and wellbeing courses and workshops, aimed at improving the general mental wellbeing of participants. The courses and workshops vary in emphasis and are for all abilities.

Previous courses have included Mindfulness, Anxiety Management, Feel the Fear & Do It Anyway, Art Therapy and Positive Thinking and Sound Meditation. We have also held Zumba, Laughter Yoga and NIA dance classes.

All courses take place on Wednesday evenings between 6.30 -9.00pm and are currently delivered remotely.

This project is not funded and we usually charge a fee to cover the cost of the venue and the trainer/ tutor. We always try to have some subsidised spaces for those on lower incomes and keep fees as low as we can.

Costs and times may vary. Usually, there will a break halfway through.

General rules common to all courses:

  1. Please attend on time
  2. The courses provide a confidential space – what is said in the space should stay in the space
  3. Observe boundaries set by the trainer or tutor (i.e. trainer is usually not available for individual consultations/ conversations outside the group)
  4. Listen/ respect the views and opinions of others

For a list of current courses, please contact Vicky Bourne here or call on 020 8255 3939.
